We share ideas and develop knowledge. We offer a range of activities to help our members implement policy and practice that improves the engagement, participation, and performance of children with disabilities in the general education curriculum. The CoP focus is on least restrictive environment (LRE):

  • To Increase the use of high quality research-based information and effective policies and practices;
  • Identify solutions to key issues and challenges;
  • Enhance shared learning;
  • Prevent duplication of effort in technical assistance;
  • Facilitate connections and collaboration;
  • Help develop service system capacities at the State and local levels;all in order to
  • Assist with the implementation of IDEA for improved outcomes for children and youth with disabilities.
