Community: State Technical Assistance Providers

The purpose of this Community of Practice is to:

  • Learn from the work we are all engaged in with states to improve outcomes for students;
  • Share our tools, practices, strategies, and current collaborations;
  • Problem-solve with other technical assistance providers who are working with state education agencies;
  • Strategize how we might work more closely together in the future to provide states with coordinated, coherent technical assistance;
  • Model the kind of collaboration needed at all levels of the system; and
  • Encourage a more inclusive, approach to improving student achievement for all students.

 The State TA Provider Community of Practice (CoP) would like to invite you to participate in the second webinar in a series that highlights collaborative technical assistance initiatives.  On April 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, staff from the North Central Regional Resource Center (NCRRC), the Mid Continent Regional Comprehensive Center (M3C), and the Missouri Department of Education will provide information on Missouri’s successful statewide initiative to implement Response to Intervention (RtI).

The presenters will discuss the North Central RtI Collaborative and the specific technical assistance activities that were implemented in Missouri.  They will also share challenges incurred, lessons learned, and positive outcomes associated with the collaborative initiative.
