Spreading the Word

How can we infiltrate all of the areas of our work with the awareness of implementation theory and research? I am finding that I am able to suggest this connection in many of the initiatives I am involved in. I am also noticing that it is becoming more apparent in the work of others.
Examples:
The National Center on response to Intervention uses dean Fixsen's work as a foundation for their planning templates.
George Sugai's work in PBIS is based upon impleemntation theory and research.
Other examples?

Thanks for your comments about infiltration of implementation science in all areas of our work. Our State Readiness Team just had a conversation yesterday about ensuring our work is embedded in existing initiatives rather than seen as a separate initiative. We have to be very thoughtful about the language we use and make sure our communication map includes the "right" people. We are very fortunate that the national initiatives gaining momentum quickly (RtI, PBIS, etc.) use implementation science as the foundation. It's human nature to need to see evidence so having examples of effective initiatives such as these is helpful to our charge. The data does and will speak for itself.
